2016 Chevy Equinox Named 2016 Top Safety Pick By IIHS
When it comes to safety, the 2016 Chevrolet Equinox has you covered. Named a 2016 Top Safety Pick by IIHS, the Equinox comes fully equipped with advanced, responsive safety features to help you avoid any type of collision and keep you focused on the crazy and always-under-construction Memphis roads.
In addition to six standard airbags and a standard rear vision camera, the Equinox offers other active safety technologies. Side Blind Alert, which uses radar sensors to help “look” for other vehicles in your periphery, warns you when another car has entered your blind spot. Rear Cross Traffic alert will inform you of approaching cars when backing out into a busy street.
In addition to these features, the LTZ safety package offers Lane Departure Warning- which alerts you when you’re drifting out of your lane, Forward Collision Alert- for when you may be approaching a car too quickly, and finally, Rear Park Assist.
Safety should be any driver’s number one priority and the 2016 Chevrolet Equinox has it all. Come check it out at Chuck Hutton Chevrolet in Memphis, TN today!

The 2016 Chevrolet Suburban Keeps with Tradition
According to Bob Sorokanich of Road & Track, the 2016 Chevrolet Suburban has not strayed far from its roots. Recently, Sorokanich—plus five family members, test drove the LTZ model of the Suburban on a day trip to Syracuse, New York.
The model that Sorokanich drove was fully loaded, featuring leather seats, 4G Wi-Fi, a host of driver assistance and safety features, and perhaps most notably GM’s Magnetic Ride Control adaptive suspension, which provides a comfortable, smooth ride to even those sitting in the third row. Additionally, 2016 Suburbans have a 5.3-liter, 355-hp V8 engine, and can easily achieve 22 miles to the gallon.
Sorokanich appreciated the authenticity of the Suburban overall. It hasn’t conformed or made any compromises like many other SUVs or crossovers in its category. He found it refreshing that the vehicle doesn’t have a “sport” or “performance” mode, and that it doesn’t have paddle shifters. Instead of trying to do it all, the Suburban truly perfects its category. It rings true to its original design from 80 years ago.
Come in to Chuck Hutton Chevrolet to experience the 2016 Chevrolet Suburban for yourself!
