2021 Chevy Trailblazer Spotted by GM Authority Minus any Camo Cover

During the very exciting and high-tech luster of the Auto Shanghai show last April that had so many exciting models to gaze at and discover, the 2021 Chevy Trailblazer was revealed to the public. In November 2019 at the Los Angeles Auto Show was when the SUV graced the lovely Pacific Coast with the outdoor-oriented Active and sportier RS trims on display. The following photos offered up to us by the seasoned staff at GM Authority showed the Trailblazer RS trim out for a stroll on public roads, without the traditional obstructionist camo cover.

The upgrades you'll enjoy with the RS trim are mostly performance-flavored, as we asked what  customers wanted to experience and avidly listened. Even if the errands you are running may seem mundane, a little extra visual might and muster always provides some added excitement not just off the line, but while navigating through highway traffic that has not yet slowed to its nightly crawl. The RS trim this year sees a unique fascia similar to what is seen on the Chevy Blazer and Camaro, sporting a mesh grille insert, and very sharp styling lines. As you look lower in the fascia, you can see a one-of-a-kind splitter element, while black Chevy Bow Tie badging is added the back as well.

When you climb inside the RS cabin you also notice added red accents to the upholstery stitching, trim made specifically for the air vent, gauge pod, and center console. The roof has undergone a two-tone treatment, which is fitting against the white-and-black color theme of the RS. The Trailblazer RS comes with all-season tires to handle anything the Memphis roads will dole out to you with confidence, and power is derived from GM's new turbocharged 1.2L LIG 3-cylinder engine. It cranks out 137 horsepower, and 166 lb-ft of torque.

If you're on the hunt for more juice, you can opt for the turbocharged 1.3 L L3T engine, which boosts the power factor up to 155 hp, and 174 lb-ft of torque. You have your choice of AWD or FWD, with a CVT stowed away to take care of the FWD and the GM nine-speed automatic transmission for AWD models brandishing the upgraded 1.3L 3-cylinder variant. The savvy and always-in-the-know staff at Carbuzz.com also reported during the fall that SiriusXM with 360L will see deployment in a million of Chevy and GMC vehicles onward from the 2020 vehicle year, including the Trailblazer.
