2021 Chevy Blazer Shows up With Camaro-Inspired Traits to The Family Crossover Category

Once responsible obligations make their way into your adult days, the fun of purchasing and driving sports cars may be approaching its way onto the chopping block. This is all well and good: the added adherence to hustle looks good on you! If you want an added boost of excitement in your ride that can meet the needs of your better half, the 2021 Blazer is loaded with every-day purpose as well as a healthy dose of torque-delivering punch! It's the wildly popular mid-sized sport utility here at Chuck Hutton Chevy of Memphis that has racked up plenty of points for practicality while borrowing the most exciting elements of candor from the burly Chevy Camaro.

There is plenty of room here for passengers and life's important forms of schedule-saving carry-on items, and the Blazer still instills a sporty sense that is influenced by the meanest source of muscle there is. On the outside, the Blazer does look as much like a muscle car as a midsized SUV is able to, and car writer Jerry Kronenberg of the “Cheapism” blog saw it arriving in Midnight Blue Metallic paint and the awesome offerings of the RS trim level. Dual chrome exhaust pipes and an automatic liftgate with a rear wiper round off the package nicely and add a bit of attitude from beyond the confines of the daily commuter.

Inside, the test Blazer came with black-and-brown perforated stitched-leather front seats that offered up plenty of legroom and hip room, as well as first-rate headroom. Six-position power seat adjusters and built-in heating and cooling were two well-noted highlights of the optional Enhanced Convenience package, and Jerry was immediately fond of the Camaro-inspired circular air vents that add their own breed of unique style to the interior. There's an 8-inch touchscreen to handle navigation, climate system, and backup camera, and the boost in necessary audio goods courtesy of the AM/FM/Sirius XM Bose premium stereo which was also part of the Enhanced Convenience package.

The cargo bay boasts 30.5 cubic feet, and can easily accommodate two or three XXL traveling suitcases. After rear seats are folded, space grows ideally to a 64.2 cubic-foot space that can handle multiple suitcases or a large dresser when the inevitable request to assist with anyone's move on short on notice arises. The ride gleaned from the V6 engine paired with 9-speed automatic transmission, perfectly large tires, and all-wheel-drive was boisterously powerful while offering a smooth characteristic in the ride that is one of the initial lures for many to the crossover genre.

Available drive modes that all change the immediate capability and dynamic come as off-road, all-wheel-drive, sport, and towing/hauling. EPA fuel ratings are situated at 19 mpg city, 26 mpg highway, and 21 mpg combined. For this year the Trailering package is now available on FWD V-6 models, and the Chevy Safety Assist Package is now standard on 2LT, 3LT, RS, and Premier trims. Come down to test drive the exciting “Spring fresh and furious” dominator, the 2021 Chevy Blazer at Chuck Hutton Chevrolet today!

Top-Trim 2021 Suburban High Country is “The best driving Suburban ever made”, Instills First-Rate Confidence

Humorously claiming that "a 1938 Suburban functioned about as well on the road as a fish in Death Valley," Clayton Seams of Driving.com reflected on the history and evolution of our prized Chevy Suburban. The lower gears wailed at high speeds, and the interior was about as bare-bones as it gets. Back then, the Suburban was treated as a "covered truck" and used only for "truck things". Cars, on the other hand, were used for "car things". Today, the newest 12th-generation Suburban has traded its rear axle for a rear suspension that has much softer and better handling characteristics.

Clayton thought that a thorough test drive was now in order, and acquired a top-trim High Country model with four-wheel drive. They sourced their power for the drive with a 6.2-Liter V8 that cranks out 428 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque. As soon as he got in and drove away, Clayton claimed that it was the best-driving Suburban ever made. It glides over rough pavement well and sticks to corners as a much smaller model would, and braking is completed with 100% confidence.

The Magnetic Ride Control is what allows this large-sized Suburban to handle corners like a car, and the automatic setting for the 4WD allows you to have the power sent to the forward axles whenever it's needed without switching it off and on repeatedly. The front seats are adjustable in every way imaginable, and “real-life-sized” grownups can ride very comfortably in all three rows of seats. For performance in the form of a luxury wagon, the Suburban was ranked by the Driving.Ca crew as “flawless”, and entertainment options in rear rows, soft leather seats, and seemingly silent highway ride make it the ultimate vehicle for carrying lots of stuff as well as your favorite passengers.

With a very quick-reacting 10-speed automatic and new diesel offered on several trims, this is the perfect time to become well-acquainted with a vehicle that has worn so many different hats for so many successful years. 2.3 inches of legroom have been gained over its previous generation, and the second-row seats also have 5.5 inches of travel to slide for ideal accommodation. Sport and Off-Road driving modes are new for 2021, joining the Tow and Haul options and providing the ability to make the ride more firm and offer better ground clearance.

One of the coolest features of the new Suburban is the by-wire brake system, which employs an electric motor minus a direct connection between the pedal and master cylinder. The current redesign also moves the control of the transmission from a conventional column shifter to a set of push-buttons to the right of the steering wheel, which is more convenient right at first touch. Make sure to check out the safety-providing extra goodies here at Chuck Hutton of Memphis in the Enhanced Display and Alert Package, which adds 360-degree cameras, rear pedestrian alert and a larger head-up display to provide you and your passengers premium protection!

As soon as the mid-engined C8 Corvette hit the market, customers here at Chuck Hutton Chevy of Memphis and all over were immediately in awe of its power, driver-focused cockpit, and world-class design. Now as the Z06 approaches its coming-year release, the many spy shots and other tidbits of information we have seen online are slowly cluing fans in to what type of features will be present on this track-ready and exhilarating machine. The word is now official that the 2022 Z06 will sport 345/25/ ZR21 tires in the back.

The staff manning the internet news wires at Corvette Blogger and consistently taking stock of what to expect on new models claimed over the past week that “we are most likely looking at the first Corvette to come with a standard wheel setup of 20 inches up front and 21s in the rear.” This translates to more grip and traction during hardcore turns and while blasting ferociously off the line. Spied while gathering info in stealth mode by a Corvette Blogger reader, Z06 prototypes are going to offer a ferocious amount of power using the flat-pane V8 crankshaft.

This motor's DOHC valvetrain is going to add a new rung of sophistication and speed potential, and the Z06 is expected to weigh in at more than 600 horsepower. The dual-clutch transmission that is supplied by Tremec can handle up to 590 lb-ft at up to 7,500 revs, and the flat-plane crankshaft will enable a redline of more than 8,000 revs, as we anxiously await the official unveiling to take place sometime during the dog days of summer 2021. What we definitely can guarantee is that it will sound entirely different and even more majestic than the 'Vette that came before it, and it will bear a bit more aggressive appearance than the C8.

Larger air spoons and a few aerodynamic additions that adjust to maximize high-speed downforce along with flaming fenders will see this new Z06 rolling off the line with the absolute top-tier features that all other Corvettes' playbooks. The Z06 structure and suspension track will be recalibrated to help ensure the performance excellence that shines through during every single lap on the racetrack. Optimizing valuable downforce has always been a high priority for the 'Vette design team, and an assortment of new active aerodynamics that automatically makes adjustments to optimize it are sure to result in a drastic improvement.

2021 Chevy Trailblazer Provides Clean, Uncomplicated Approach to Crossover SUV Kinetics

With current-year models arriving and the various automotive blogs online reporting back on which features they loved most during test drives, the 2021 Chevy Trailblazer has gained a high amount of positive attention! Here at Chuck Hutton Chevy of Memphis we have long been won over by the Trailblazer's characteristic oversized grille and rounded hood that bears a bit of resemblance to the Blazer. Fenders that bulge out just a bit and darkened trim surrounding the wheel openings also visually make a statement on this body that is about 7 inches longer than its close relative, the Chevy Trax.

As reported by the staff at the Oak Bay News, Chevy deserves recognition for the Trailblazer's interior, with its straightforward dashboard and gauges as well as an integrated touch-screen and semi old-school floor shifter. With a roomy cabin that provides sufficient head and legroom and overall comfort is for front and back-seat passengers, it is also convenient to fold the rear-seatback versions perfectly flat which can come in handy when hauling longer items. The base 1.2-liter engine cranks out 137 horsepower and 166 lb-ft of torque, and the optional 3-cylinder 1.3-liter provides 155 horsepower and 177 lb-ft of torque.

The 1.3-liter variant is available with a 9-speed automatic, which includes all-wheel-drive with Normal, Sport and Snow modes: the all-important AWD factor cannot be found on competitors such as the Nissan Kicks, Toyota C-HR and Hyundai Venue. Chevy listened intently a few years ago as customers told us that they were interested in seeing more features as standard as a benefit on entry-level trims, and we took it upon ourselves to deliver. The L trim level does come with adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist with lane-departure warning and emergency braking with pedestrian detection.

Stepping up to the LS allows you to keep passengers as a priority with a folding seat plus booming six-speaker audio system and alloy wheels, while the LT provides heated front seats, a roof rack, fog lamps and a convenient remote engine starter for cold or busy mornings to ease the stress o fa place you need to be on the double. The Activ grade offers up the means of capability fit for the call of the trail with off-road suspension tuning, protective skid plate and the turbo 1.3 engine.

The RS trim is what we'd recommend for the customer who has decided on the Trailblazer and wants the best of everything extra to make the ride memorable (and enviable!). You'll be sporting a leather-trimmed interior and flat-bottomed steering wheel, rear center armrest and larger 18-inch wheels. The savory days of spring will prove to be that much better with a panoramic sunroof, and loading is a snatch with the hands-free liftgate. You'll also drive off amply rewarded with rear-park assist, a 4G Wi-Fi hotspot and 7-speaker Bose premium audio.

Monitoring The Motivated Truck-Lover's Pulse: Differences Between Chevy Silverado 1500 and Silverado HD Described

If you have found yourself now in the market for a brand-new Chevrolet pickup truck here at Chuck Hutton of Memphis, a bit of pre-spring comparison could be in order to sort out the fine details! The 2021 Silverado 1500 and the 2021 Silverado HD are two top-selling trucks generating a huge amount of interest, and both have specific features that allow for dominating as a class-leader during different tasks.

Size: At first glance, the 2021 Chevy Silverado HD models are bigger than the 2021 Silverado 1500. The 2500HD and 3500HD weigh in heftily as ¾ ton and one-ton trucks, where the 1500 is a half-ton. This renders the HD models as heavier, taller, and wider, with the extra size proving to be very useful for towing and hauling. Passenger space in the cab is nearly identical on both models, and if you are looking for the truck that comes out ahead in mass, the HD variant is your go-to.

Engine Options are plentiful in the Silverado 1500, with six powertrains on deck to offer your perfect selection. Included are the 4.3-liter V6, a 2.7-liter turbo, a 3.0-liter Duramax turbodiesel, two 5.3-liter V8, and the top-of-the-line 6.2-liter V8. This engine reigns supreme if you are looking for the largest amount of horsepower (420), and the most torque at (460 lb-ft). The Silverado comes equipped with your choice of the 401-horsepower 6.6-liter V8 and a 445-horsepower Duramax turbodiesel that earnestly cranks out 910 lb-ft of torque. The HD's larger engines may see you doubling down at the gas pump, but provide the element of raw grunt that many truck lovers are after.

Towing and Hauling are two of the predominant characteristics that steered many buyers towards trucks in the first place! The Silverado HD's heavy-duty construction allows for towing and hauling substantially more than the Silverado 1500, with the Silverado 3500HD coming in strong as the champion with a gas-powered payload capacity of 7,442 pounds and diesel models lugging up to 6,523 pounds. After the addition of fifth-wheel/gooseneck equipment, these towing maxes rise to 17,200 and 36,000 lbs respectively. The Silverado HD doesn't match either of the HD models, but still boasts towing maximums from 13,300 lbs with the 6.2-liter V8 to 7,900 lbs utilizing the standard V6.

Trim Level Selection within the Silverado camp provides you the ultimate ability to acquire the features that you know will best meet your needs for the task at hand. The Silverado HD has a focus on heavy-duty work, without quite as many trim levels available as the Silverado 1500. They both offer WT, Custom, LT, LTZ, and High Country trim, but the Silverado HD doesn't come in Custom Trail Boss, LT Trail Boss, or RST trims as the Silverado 1500 does. The Silverado 1500 and HD are pretty close to each other for features. The HD comes minus the new Multi-Flex Tailgate, and also does not have 22-inch wheels.

We hope to see you soon to speak with you in person about your Silverado choice, and steer you in the right direction with a test drive here at Chuck Hutton. Once you designate with Silverado is right for you, you'll be towing, hauling, blazing through the job site with ease, and be overly eager to show off the new rig to your long-time neighbor over a cold one!
