Caught testing on public roads, the 2024 Tahoe is quite obviously sporting a new front fascia and revised rear fascia, both of which are covered in thick camouflage for this prototype model. It appears to have shown its face in the wild in the sporty RST trim, and the front end sports numerous camo cutouts that suggest a front facing camera and GM Super Cruise Semi-autonomous driver assist.

Last year, the Tahoe’s sales numbers rose more than 20 percent from 2020. This year’s model boasts responsive powertrains, a distinctive exterior design, and a spacious interior. It remains related to the Silverado in many ways, including riding fully on an independent suspension. GM Authority Provides Details on 2023 Chevy Bolt EV and EUV Production

In February of 2021, GM unveiled the refreshed 2022 Chevy Bolt EV and all-new 2022 Chevy Bolt EUV during a joint debut, and all of us here at Chuck Hutton Chevrolet were excited to see production details released on the GM Authority blog this past week. The 2023 Chevy Bolt EV and 2023 Chevy Bolt EUV are scheduled to begin production on May 9th at the GM Lake Orion Assembly plant in Michigan, with official order books opening March 10th. 

Last year, there were a few different reasons why production of the Bolt EV and EUV were halted, and we have so many positive things to look forward to as progression takes place. The Chevy Bolt EV has received a segment-level award from IHS Markit during its 26th Annual Automotive Loyalty Awards. The 2023 Blazer is now scheduled to arrive as the fifth model year for its very popular nameplate here at Chuck Hutton Chevy of Memphis, and we are excited to provide you an in-depth look at what the differences are between the incoming and outgoing models. The bloggers at GM Authority produced an  awesome feature last week that compares the sporty RS Trim levels!

Up front, the refreshed 2023 Blazer now sports a new fascia, and the corners of the front end show off devised daytime running lights that are longer and thinner than those on the 2022 model. There is nothing more exciting than a new product announcement! GM Authority previewed what to expect for the 2022 Chevy Equinox, and they were particularly excited about the five available wheel sets. 

One of the new sets is an aluminum wheel that features a split five-spoke design with a bright aluminum finish and dark gray base. It’s a PJR format that shares the same design as the PJS wheel, sporting a lighter and less monotone color. The new PJR wheel is available on the 2022 Equinox’s LT and Premier trims. Another eye-catching option is the RV8 tire model, an edgy face and glossy number with silver pockets for the 1LT.

All  2022 Equinox drivers will enjoy the new front and rear ends, a brand-new RS trim level, and other great new features. 2022 Chevy Trailblazer Maximizes "All-Important Urban and Freeway Time” With Test Crew

The Daily Herald staff initiated quite the trip last year when they took a Chevy Trailblazer rambling capably across the old Pony Express Trail in Utah’s West Desert, giving the SUV an intense workout that put its off-road ability to the true test.

They visited some scenic and challenging desert areas with a final destination of Fish Springs National Wildlife Refuge. 2021 Chevy Trailblazer Provides Clean, Uncomplicated Approach to Crossover SUV Kinetics

With current-year models arriving and the various automotive blogs online reporting back on which features they loved most during test drives, the 2021 Chevy Trailblazer has gained a high amount of positive attention! Here at Chuck Hutton Chevy of Memphis we have long been won over by the Trailblazer's characteristic oversized grille and rounded hood that bears a bit of resemblance to the Blazer. Fenders that bulge out just a bit and darkened trim surrounding the wheel openings also visually make a statement on this body that is about 7 inches longer than its close relative, the Chevy Trax.

Future Features and Design Fast Facts: The Coming of the 2022 Traverse

Many of our most loyal customers here at Chuck Hutton Chevy of Memphis have long been asking about the new version of the Traverse: having had its best sales year ever in 2019, many are being won over by its practicality and comfortable ride. Now slated to be available during the third quarter of 2021, six safety features are now standard on all trim levels, as many other competitors will require upgrading to see them in their models.

 

The 2022 model boasts best-in-class cargo space, and completely designed front and rear fascias. Since its original debut in 2009, the Traverse has seen nearly 1.3 million units sold in the U.S., and it is the third most popular car on the Chevy brand list. There are now newly redesigned front and rear fascias, and new standard LED headlamps and tail lamps. The front grille has been updated, and there are 4 new wheel designs to choose from as well. You'll also see the availability of the Dual SkyScape 2-panel power sunroof with new rear power sunshade, and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto now boast wireless options.

 

There is a new available 8-inch diagonal driver information center, wireless charging pad to easily stay poised and ready while on the go, and USB ports are now in all rows. The standard safety equipment for all trims now includes automatic emergency braking, front pedestrian braking, lane keep assist with lane departure warning, forward collision alert, intellibeam, auto high beams, and following distance indicator. The front end now bears just a bit more resemblance to the Blazer, by incorporating the turn signal into the daytime running light.

 All Traverse models have three rows, and there is seating for 8 when configured with a 2nd -row bench seat, or 7-passenger seating when the second row is configured with captain's chairs. The Chevy Suburban is one of the longest-standing nameplates within our brand's offerings, something to take great pride in as we are situated within an era where so many models seem to be coming and going. Making its way solidly through gas crunches and a few various economical spirals, the full-size SUV has become somewhat of a staple for us here at Chuck Hutton. The awesome folks on staff at the Speedsociety.com Blog produced a feature last week that celebrated the fact that the Suburban is a car with a massive and original touch of class.

In the beginning, the Suburban was not intended for any sort of civilian consumer at all. It was designed for military supplies and personnel, with a large-bodied vibe, and sturdy enough shell to brave the worst of the world's aggressive elements. When the decision was made to switch over to a format that average consumers could use, this is when the blog author lamented that “A Star was Born.” The video presented here provided an in-depth guided tour of the Suburban's history, and the illustrious way in which the truck found its comfortable niche. Nestled alongside the Camaro, Corvette, and Silverado, the Suburban is not a model slated to disappear anytime soon, as it is more than ideal for tasks ranging from a family hauler to a personal limo.

During the early 1930s, parts of the Midwest were covered in dust, and Chevy was quietly and astutely putting station wagon bodies on their full-size truck frames for outfits like the Army and National Guard. By 1984, Chevy and GMC were cranking out nearly 65,000 Suburbans per year, and the world could not get enough of this outdoorsy and oversized fence-crushing and dirt-defying machine. One of the reasons why military personnel were such fans of the Suburban was the way in which it blended in: On the flipside of the coin, if you see four or five black Suburbans in a caravan, you “know something is goin' down” as the show host put it, and it is a nice display of appropriate flex. Front skidplate, off-roading tires, and a very unique grille were first offered by means of the Z71 package in 2001: this is when things began to get very serious, while those who already knew it was a vehicle unrivaled in a class it entirely created continued to be fans.

Kelley Blue Book Pits 2019 Chevy Trax Against Mitsubishi Outlander Sport

A reliable source for many for years on pricing, longevity, and features, Kelley Blue Book has always been keen on cluing readers in to the traits that make any model stand out above others. Compact SUV's have lately been a popular pick for many on the hunt for a new addition, and the 2019 Chevy Trax and Mitsubishi Outlander have both been head-to-head in many ways, vying for attention and ultimately sales. Matching up the two on the “all-important stuff” was bound to happen sooner or later, and as the review staff dug deep in, the peppy and fun-to-drive Trax jumped ahead in the race, displaying favored status off the bat.

The Trax is a fun-to-drive subcompact SUV that is packed with the best in modern technology, and has the positive characteristic of feeling very nimble and agile on the road. The front seats are roomy and comfortable for any trip you have planned that is longer than average, and the cabin is quiet at highway speeds. The Kelley Blue Book review also does a good job of pointing out that the Outlander Sport platform has not been updated since 2011, and the 2.4-liter engine that is offered on the SE and SEL trims provides much better performance overall. The warranty, styling, and manual transmission availability were ranked a bit better on the Outlander, but the Trax finished out overall ahead as the better buy. It is always a blast to drive, well-behaved on the road, and offers a suite of technology features that can render any commute an entertainment-rich and ultimate productivity zone.

The two vehicles both finish in fairly similar places as far as headroom and legroom are concerned, with our Trax coming in at 5 inches wider, and a 5-star instead of 4-star safety rating. Both models fit 5 passengers comfortably, and the Outlander Sport actually flaunts an engine that is 2.0-liter instead of 1.4 as is featured on the Trax. This is a 2019 SUV model that Car and Driver claimed was “tuned specifically for comfort,” and gave it massive props for a cabin that is surprisingly spacious.

These writers that have seen their share of the best and baddest from current SUV offerings also claimed that the Trax is a “leader for overall refinement,” and that the engine does a great job of fading to near silence on highway trips. Equipped with 10 standard airbags, this is an individual and flavorful SUV that will always provide you a cloaked sense of security, and assurance that you'll reach your destination safe and sound.
