A decadently blacked-out version of the 2022 Chevy Silverado High Country made its first appearance for the truck fans at the 2021 SEMA Show this week.
This concept trades in the stock chrome exterior trim and accessories for gloss-black painted pieces, giving the vehicle a stealthy outside appearance. The black-painted grille inserts, black Chevy bowtie logos, black High Country fender logos, 20-inch gloss black Chevrolet Accessories wheels, and black anodized exhaust bezels tie things together while pleasantly embracing the darker side of design. With other available Chevy accessories available at Chuck Hutton Chevrolet, you’ll be able to personalize the truck and claim ownership of the night!
The model has a high-end exterior appearance with a two-tone bronze and chrome grille, chrome window and mirror trim, and 20-inch city or trail-ready aluminum wheels. Even with the extra dark bits adding visual character, the concept keeps most of the standard specs as what is already available on the High Country. You’ll still have heated and ventilated 10-way power front driver’s and passenger’s seats, the all-important wireless charging pad, a leather-wrapped heated steering wheel, and an immaculate Bose premium audio setup.
We are not yet positive if this version will be for mass production or an exciting and brand-new High Country Midnight Concept, and this final decision could be heavily dependent on how the public responds at SEMA. 87% of attendees plan to actually order products from SEMA exhibitors this year, and a strong 65% are coming to check out what new vendors have to offer. Education day seminars, a star-studded awards reception and banquet, and the hottest and future-ready cars all provide the backdrop to one of Chevy’s highest-attended events.
This top-of-the-line High Country edition features open-pore wood, and the updated Silverado trims now come with a configurable 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster with a 13.4-inch touchscreen situated at the center. Paired together with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Chevy’s new infotainment system includes Google’s voice assistant, app store, and maps. The infamous Super Cruise system is also available on the High Country, allowing the driver to go hands-free under certain conditions!
