2021 Chevy Silverado Realtree Edition: The Roving Hunter's Perfect Hideout

Everyone on sales or service staff here at Chuck Hutton Chevy of Memphis can agree that there is nothing quite as satisfying as pulling up to a place of solace in your truck. It may be a hilltop, mountainside, or open field, and it may be for hunting, fishing, or the side job you picked up for the weekend on a contractor's site. Regardless of what trim type you've picked for your Chevy Silverado, you know that it's the pride of the woodsman, jewel of the hauler, and worthy of any wilderness wanderer's immediate approval.

The 2021 Silverado Realtree Edition features the outdoor clothing company's unique camouflage graphics on the bed sides, interior door panels, and hood, as well as on the bed liner and body. It's a trim package specifically cooked up for the Silverado Trail Boss model, which already touts a lifted body, off-road shocks, all-terrain tires, and other features that boost its off-road abilities tremendously. You still have the choice of the 5.3-liter V8 or 6.2-liter V8 engine, paired to a 10-speed automatic transmission. In the front, the prominent outdoor company that we love so much's forest-themed camo outlines the power bulge on the hood, and there are also assist steps on the sides as well as a pair of black rectangular exhaust tips.
Of course, this model also comes equipped with the Z71 Off-Road Package, adding a two-inch suspension lift and monotube Rancho shocks. The truck rides on 20-inch wheels with Goodyear Wrangler tires and boasts an automatic locking rear differential, skid plates for ultimate underbelly protection, and two-speed transfer case. All of this is coming back at Chevy fans after a five-year hiatus, and we couldn't be more excited: as trucks have become more mainstream to the daily urban driver and known for their luxurious interiors, we wholeheartedly enjoy this model that pays homage to the world's leading camouflage brand.

The Realtree Edition offers hunting and fishing enthusiasts a Chevy model that is 100% perfectly matched to their passions, and it's the perfect model to commemorate one's love of roving around in the great outdoors. Still the ideal model for those looking for style, capability, and dependability, the Silverado boasts a legacy of rugged success, advanced connectivity, and well-enhanced customer-focused technologies.
The Silverado 1500 laid the claim to segment leader in the 2015 J.D. Powers and Associates U.S. Initial Quality survey, and we are confident that those who love the conservation of natural places will agree this is the best-equipped rig for them. Brandishing the best of ways to ring in the half-ton pickup's fourth generation, we hope you come down to check out this and other fantastic Silverado trims this January here at Chuck Hutton!

2020 ZR2 Bison Deemed as “Stevens Pass Snowfall Conqueror” by Herald-Net

Typical customers here at Chuck Hutton Chevy of Memphis have been just like customers across the rest of the nation: 100% crazy for trucks! The 2020 Colorado mid-size pickup is available in a variety of configurations, with choice of extended-cab or crew versions, 3 different bed lengths, 3 engine choices, and the Work Truck, LT, Z71, and ZR2 trim levels. The ZR2 is the quintessential off-road model, and the Bison version is equipped with several awesome assets that give it an edge for the most extreme of conditions.

Mary Lowry of Everett, Washington's Herald-Net publication test drove the ZR2 when her area of Snohomish County was experiencing heavy snow and took the truck to a forest service road near Stevens Pass to put its off-road chops to the test. She was driving the 4WD short-box crew cab model, also equipped with the 2.8-liter 4-cylinder diesel engine and standard six-speed automatic transmission. This proper and off-road-ready setup cranks out 186 horsepower and 369 lb-ft of torque and boasts a hefty 7,700 lb towing ability.

The Bison performance special edition is the first time that Chevy has collaborated with Michigan-based AEV, which is widely known as the premier entity for off-road additions. The Bison model features a flow-through Chevy lettered grille bar, AEV front and rear bumper, fog lamps, wheel moldings, front and rear floor liners, embroidered headrests, AEV 17-inch wheels, boron steel skid plates for the fuel tank, rear differential, and transfer case. There's even an AEV air snorkel, that can supply filtered air to the engine when plowing through extreme dust.

Mary also highlighted the great comfort factor that she enjoyed by means of a six-way power driver seat, heated front seats with power lumbar adjustment, a rear folding bench seat, heated tilt and telescoping steering wheel with audio controls, wireless device charging, 8-inch touchscreen, voice recognition, Bluetooth, Android Auto, and Apple CarPlay capability, and OnStar services with available Wi-Fi. New for 2020 are key fob operated tailgate lock control and Tire Fill Alert, a real lifesaver during winter months when you don't want pressure to fluctuate dangerously.
Even with all of the extra additives on board to assure that the Bison is the ruler of all off-road domains, the highway ride was still surprisingly smooth, minus a bit of the instability and grippiness that Mary expected from the ZR2. “The fun begins when the pavement ends” when you're at the wheel of the Bison, and the skid plates and rock sliders are some of the most important components when it comes to the protection of the vital elements of the truck that are the first to suffer when pushed to the limit. We guarantee that pushing said limits has never been more fun, and any snow-covered pass standing in your way will be conquered with ease!

Breakdown of 2021 Chevy Trailblazer's Lighting Elements Featured on GM Authority

It was back in November of 2019 when the 2021 Chevy Trailblazer was unveiled at the Los Angeles Auto Show, much to the delight of SUV fans who are looking for a midsize and feature-rich daily driver. This new crossover slots in between the subcompact Chevy Trax and compact Chevy Equinox in the current lineup, and draws a hefty amount of design inspiration from the new Blazer. The folks on staff poised and ready to provide the scoop at GM Authority cranked out a feature last week providing an up-close look at what each specific trim offers in the lines of lighting, and other features that will make you want to test drive a new one right here at Chuck Hutton Chevy of Memphis this January!

The five trim levels for the model lineup are L, LS, LT, ACTIV, and RS. In the front, there are three unique elements: daytime running lamps, headlamps, and fog lamps. Both halogen and LED elements are available, with halogen headlamps now offered as standard across the lineup, and LED headlamps appearing higher up the scale alongside the optional Technology Package.

Signature LED daytime running lamps are also standard across the range, while LED fog lamps come as standard with higher trims. When opting for the Technology Package, you also will enjoy the following benefits:

·        HD radio
·        Chevy Infotainment 3 Plus system
·        Bose premium 7-speaker Soundsystem
·        Sirius XM with 360L
·        Memory card receptacle
·        Wireless phone projection
·        Adaptive Cruise Control
·        HD Rear Vision Camera
·        Enhanced 4.2-inch diagonal multi-color display Driver Information Center

In the rear, the 2021 Chevy Trailblazer is equipped with LED tail lamps or Halogen tail lamps, with standard outfit determined by respective trim: the ACTIV and RS levels are where the LED tail lamps come into play. The ACTIV trim offers up a more rugged look, also boasting a two-tone roof, unique front and rear fascia, and sport terrain tires as well as suspension tuning enhancements. The RS quenches the thirst for those looking for something sportier, with a performance-inspired mesh grille sporting a Chevy bow tie and unique front splitter elements.
You also get the dual exhaust with circular tips, a nice touch with a more-than-fair element of flex. To stay seamlessly connected while on the road, the Trailblazer will allow two phones to be paired via Bluetooth at the same time, and optional SiriusXM with 360L will offer music minus the commercials, among other exclusive content genres. Standard active safety features on the new Trailblazer include Front Pedestrian Braking, Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning, and Automatic Emergency Braking. You can also add top-of-the-line safety and driver-assist features such as Adaptive Cruise Control, Rear Park Assist, and a High Definition Rear Vision Camera.

GM Authority Provides First Look at 2020 Chevy Blazer's new Bright Blue Metallic Hue

When we told customers and fans alike around a year and a half ago here at Chuck Hutton Chevy of Memphis that the Blazer was coming back, it was very obvious to us that the excitement level was in the way upper end of the proud Chevy-badged stratosphere! The 2020 Chevy Blazer will feature a new Redline Edition as well as an optional turbo 2.0-L LSY 4-cylinder engine, but as our friends over at GM Authority reported this week, also sees the addition of 3 new exterior colors: Iridescent Pearl Tricoat, Midnight Blue Metallic, and Bright Blue Metallic.
They produced a close-up look on their blog page at the Bright Blue Metallic, assigned color code GLT, and touch-up paint code WA-327E. The new blue hue is only offered on RS models and is able to be matched to the Jet Black interior color combination. The RS is the very “comfortably loaded” trim underneath the luxury Premiere, and the ideal slot to add appeal to with this blue. We admit that black, silver, and red were what had really caught our eye as far as luster when the Blazer first made its appearance, but this Bright Blue Metallic color kind of revs its way on up to the “approval department” of your auto-buying sense as soon as you lay eyes on it!

The “floating roof” angles curve neatly into the beltline on this modern SUV, and the 3.6-liter V6 engine standard on the RS and Premier is a punchy number offering up 308 horsepower and 270 lb-ft of torque for the ride. Many have drawn numerous parallels to the Camaro when analyzing the new Blazer, and from interior design on up to the performance, we are happy to have it be derived from its pony-laden influence. The V6 is the true element that makes the Blazer feel like a muscle car when it's pointed in a straight line ready to conquer acceleration pronto, and the exhaust is full of notably memorable surprises at every inch marched forward.
After your test drive when you are figuring out how to piece together your ideal new Blazer, some of the best additives to keep in mind are the sunroof and 21-inch gloss black wheels, and the Enhanced Convenience and Driver package. This provides the addition of a rear camera mirror, updated infotainment, and advanced safety features.

Every Blazer comes standard with push-button start, HD rear-view camera, dual-zone automatic climate control, 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, and Chevy's Rear Seat Reminder, so no one gets left behind in the rush. Come talk to us soon about how to quickly find yourself in the feature-rich 2020 Blazer, with a five-year/60,000-mile powertrain warranty and roadside assistance for prime peace of mind!
