2022 Silverado HD To Add Ingenious Space-Saving and Bed Access Solution With Multi-Flex Tailgate

As trucks become more and more powerful, have greater and greater tow ratings, and prepare to welcome the arrival of electrification, our loyal customers here at Chuck Hutton Chevy of Memphis have been inquiring frequently about the 2022 Silverado HD. The same great personality and capability will be evident on this model, as well as the addition of the six-function Multi-Flex Tailgate.

This very popular and useful feature offers up six distinct settings that make it easier to use and provide simple access to the truck bed. This already heavy-duty truck that already has bragging rights to the best-in-class volume on the market thanks to Durabed just got massively better, and now has an even more versatile day-to-day usefulness. One of the best features is the new tailgate's ability to switch between settings with the key fob, letting you decide on what's best for current conditions before you even reach the truck. The tailgate sees two buttons mounted on it to toggle through modes, as well as a button on the instrument panel in the cabin.

The primary gate consists of the very basic up/down tailgate setting, followed by the primary gate load stop and inner gate load stop, which is where things get quite a bit easier for allowing cargo in the bed to be completely secure. The full-width step setting can support up to 375 lbs of weight independently, and the easy access mode allows you to fold down the inner gate to allow you to quickly grab tools or gear from the protected bed. So many new workers have joined the ranks of those who work from home in fields such as real estate and surveying this past year, loving the addition of a solid truck model to their productivity and flexibility.

Having the space of the tailgate is an excellent way to create a roving area to work from and tie up loose ends while completing projects in the field. A leaked drawing found by GM Authority shows a bit more of a conventional grill for the 2022 Silverado, squared off with new air intakes directly below the headlights. Don't forget to check out awesome add-ons such as the Liner Protection Package, which provides wheelhouse and floor liners, color-keyed carpeting, and all-weather floor liners that can withstand a beating from the harshest of elements!

Anyone who's already rightfully excited about the Multi-Flex Tailgate will definitely want to have keen eyes on the Trailering Package: there is the inclusion of hitch guidance, a 2” receiver hitch, 4-pin and 7-pin connectors, a 7-wire electrical harness, and a 7-pin sealed connector for the lights and brakes. The Work Truck Fleet Package allows you to revel in tough-duty essentials such as a 220-amp alternator, OnStar, 120-volt power outlet, and semi-automatic air conditioning to cool you down appropriately while hard at work on the day's demands!

2021 Suburban Claims Its Stake as Top-Tier Highway Cruiser, “XXL With No Compromise”

Hauling seven people around is a common request coming from many busy families on the go here at Chuck Hutton Chevy of Memphis, as well as bringing along a week's worth of useful gear while they're at it. Now celebrating its 12th generation, the 2021 Chevy Suburban began its creation with a brand-new independent rear suspension, which is a huge contribution to its improved ride and excellent rear grip. The tires now each move completely on their own, and the presence of magnetic ride control marks the Suburban at the top of its class when it comes to extra-long drives.

One great change for this year's model line that has many buyers excited is the addition of the 3.0-liter Duramax inline-six diesel, which many of the world's top-ranked car reviewers have claimed is the ultimate definition of thrifty and dependable, beating out every single non-hybrid crossover in existence for EPA results. This particular engine boasts 277 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque and can move this big rig right along with ease, even with the trailer jam-packed. A greater amount of sound insulation and active noise cancellation makes for sprawling out in full comfort as the mile markers pass, as there is virtually no sound escaping from under the hood.

The selection of the Premier and High Country trims provides adaptive cruise control and the very useful trailer blind spot monitor and surround-view cameras. These features are worth every bit of the splurge, as loading and towing become so much easier with their help. Safety features that all come as standard are front park assist, lane change and lane-keeping, and rear cross-traffic alert. The screen that was snagged from the current Silverado is now raised up and stands on top of the heater and radio controls, and features a larger size at 10.2 inches.

Space in all three rows is enough for XXL adults, and one major benefit the Suburban can dangle precariously over its relative in the form of the Tahoe is the larger opening for getting in and out than the longer wheelbase allows for. Even in the third row, you'll have USB-C ports, and this year's Suburban dwarfs many other current crossovers in the same price range with its capability and class-leading diesel option. Car and Driver claimed after extensive testing that they nailed down 20 mpg driving this year's Suburban, and praised the fuel-saving technology hard at work in both gas powertrains as well.

One of the first great things you'll notice while driving off the lot is the Suburban's cargo area, which has expanded by 23 cubic feet, which is aided by the independent rear suspension. U.S. News and World Report doled out heavy praise and appreciation for this star-studded and memory-making number for its roomy seating space, massive cargo area, ideally powerful engine selections, and abundant features offered as standard.

2021 Chevy Camaro Turbo 1LE Redefines Dazzling Things that Come In Small Packages

Aaron Gold of Motor Trend recognized at the beginning of a new feature last week that the Camaro is often compared to the Ford Mustang and Dodge Challenger, as the three of these are all fiercely competitive with each other in every way. This week here at Chuck Hutton of Memphis we are going to look at the 2021 Chevy Camaro Turbo 1LE, which combines the smallest Camaro engine with the SS model's taut and legendary suspension.

A couple of weeks of real-world driving was going to be the proper judge of whether or not this model with its 275-horsepower 2.0-liter turbo I-4, six-speed manual, and focus on handling instead of raw power would suffice. The staff pleasantly came away from the time feeling as if this character that is not as burly has lots to love, and truly possesses its own unique personality. The 1LE is a specialized track performance package that provides FE3 suspension components from the V8-powered SS with 4-piston Brembo front brakes, a mechanical limited-slip differential, a short-throw shifter, and coolers to provide aid for the transmission, oil, and rear differential.

Outside, the 1LE adds a black hood, ultra-lightweight wheels, Goodyear Eagle F1 run-flat summer tires, and unique RS badging. This particular 4-cylinder will still get to 60 mph in just 5.6 seconds, and launch mode is a feature that many of us (admittedly!) dreamed of during that decade that begins with a “4 times 2!” The no-lift shift feature allows you to keep the accelerator pinned to the floor while you shift gears, and works superbly in conjunction with the racing-style shift indicator situated on the head-up display.

During the drives on twisty roads, the team's admiration for the car really started to rise, and it became much more of a sports-car and completely out of the hatchback/urban commuter league. Here the very professional handling and performance traits started to stick out drastically, and right-turn "grippiness", as well as ideal weight distribution, started to shine through during testing. It takes many different traits and processes during the engineering task to fully create a driving experience that provides a telepathic connection between the car and driver, and once again on this model Dodge hit a star-studded home run.

Even though experienced drivers tend to prefer massively large engines, this 4-cylinder reduces weight on the nose, and the turn-on is smooth, with the front tires offering up the perfect eyes and ears to guide you through the road surface. You can open the throttle very widely without seeing the rear wheels jump up and break loose, and it winds up ultimately being a much better engine for a curvy road than a V6 or V8. The heavy clutch, intractable shifter, and impressive lack of an automatic transmission also help this car stay within the exciting lanes of pony status even while brandishing the slightly less menacing powertrain!

Chevy Equinox Earns Spot on the U.S. News and World Report's “15 Best Commuter Cars of 2021”

With our customers here at Chuck Hutton Chevrolet leading very busy lives and having every open slot of their schedule filled up daily, the task of the daily commute can be unavoidable! Many vehicles that are now coming out are making this tedious task much more bearable, and give you the opportunity to begin enjoying your commute as opposed to dreading it. The well-equipped and budget-minded 2021 Chevy Equinox now has another achievement to boast about for the year, as it earned a spot on the U.S News & World Report's list of the 15 best Commuter Cars and SUVs of 2021.

Every vehicle to make this list has taken detailed measures to be budget-minded, as they are all under $25,000. Ample cargo space and roomy seating, a comfortable ride quality, an easy-to-use infotainment system, and a large number of standard safety features are all characteristics that helped this year's Equinox earn this segment-leading achievement. When you come to visit us this spring for a test drive, you have the choice from the entry-level L, LS, LT, and Premier trims.

The power source for this efficient and time-saving model is a 1.5-liter turbo engine paired to a six-speed automatic transmission generating 170 horsepower and 203 lb-ft of torque. You'll be pleased daily to enjoy an EPA-estimated fuel rating of 31 mpg on the highway when the SUV is equipped with FWD. You'll also benefit from the hidden storage directly under the rear cargo floor, and a hands-free power liftgate that offers you easy and quick access to the cargo area. Even before the events of the past year, busy workdays begin well before you arrive at the office, and the benefit of having connectivity to your smartphone via Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capability allows you to connect with your cohorts at any hour.

With a spry driving personality and roomy cabin, any daily driver is bound to feel that they are knocking out the items on their to-do list with so very much more than a vehicle that just handles the bare essentials! The Car And Driver staff favored the LT model after their numerous test drives, as it provides the addition of several worthwhile features from its spot situated just above the LS trim. Busy days with a fresh coffee and your laptop by your side will be more productive with an 8-way power-adjustable driver's seat, SiriusXM satellite radio, tinted rear windows, body-colored exterior mirror housings, and extra chrome trim.

On top of its presence on this “best of” list offered up by one of the nation's most trusted publications, the Equinox also scored a five-star honor from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. For the busy and time-crunched Tennessee commuters that place driver-assistance features at the top of their lists, the Equinox boasts standard automated emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane-keeping assist with lane-departure warning, and available adaptive cruise control.
