The 2018 Chevy Sonic revealed itself while test driving in Motor City

The 2018 Chevy Sonic was caught test driving in the wintery climes of Detroit, Michigan last month. The Sonic will be based on Gamma platform that will be shared with the all-electric Chevy Bolt. Autoblog.com suggests that a naturally aspirated four-cylinder or a small turbocharged engine will replace the cars electric motor and massive battery pack. It is also possible that the engine could be three-cylinders.

It is apparent that progress of the 2018 Sonic is underway, and its arrival is highly anticipated. The Chevy Sonic has always been a customer favorite at Chuck Hutton Chevrolet. The Sonic offers a 40 EPA estimated MPG turbo highway, Forward Collison Alert, Lane Departure Warning, 4G Wi-Fi options and it is extremely affordable.
